William Kirk, a senior at Palos Verdes High in California, finished fourth in the boys varsity 3-mile race at the Bay League championship meet at Redondo Union High. Kirk clocked 14:57.8 to help Palos Verdes take third overall with 67 points, advancing to the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 prelims Nov. 13 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
