Natalie Wang, a sophomore at Palos Verdes High in California, placed sixth in the girls varsity 3-mile race at the Bay League championship meet at Redondo Union High. Wang clocked 17:50.3 for Palos Verdes, which took third with 73 points to advance to the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 prelims Nov. 13 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
